Didn’t it get to the point where it felt like summer would never arrive? Thanks goodness it has with the warm temperatures and the start of practically free concerts and events all throughout Michiana. MichianaMeetup is doing the next MichianaMeetup Michiana TweetUP together with our friends at 88.1 WVPE Public Radio on June 4th, 2010. Sizzling sounds of blues band music will kick off a summer entertainment series as 88.1 WVPE Public Radio along with the South Bend Museum of Art, as they present Meet Me on the Island.
After thinking about what would our folowers really want, we realized wy not do a non-traditional type of music tweetup? We thought it be more fun to hold the next MichianaMeetup MichianaTweetup enjoying the music of Kevin Q and the Night Crew with Venitia Sekema at Meet Me on the Island. If you’re not familiar with the band, they are known for their tight harmonies, a rhythm section you can set your watch to, and an unmistakable guitar sound; a sound that has kept Kevin Quarandillo a solid part of the Michiana music scene for many years.
So join us June 4th at the South Bend Museum of Art, located at 120 South St. Joseph Street (outdoors on Island Park) in Downtown SOuth Bend. Relax with great music and great views of the St. Joseph River and downtown South Bend, the sounds of a great blues band, along with concessions and cocktails available.
